May Journal wip
Just uploading this to blog to check the balance - it might dissappear soon - but then again it might just stay put!
Humm not really a straight photo - must work on camera and tripod work!
I'm happy with the journal though.
Ok this will stay - finished quilt will be up when it has a binding - No 1 Step Daughter says - "Needs a silver frame" as in metal - hang on wall - I think that is an approval! Yeah!!!
Angela (fav niece) took the original photo. I think she might be happy with it too. I have Photoshopped the original a bit just to add light!
I'll explain how I made it when I have finished it!
See I do do other thing but Jane - I still have Life!

Well done so far - more please..........
....and this is my Twisted Sister!(Yes I am mother of "fav niece") If this turns out anything like Mount Wellington it will be SPECTACULAR.
I've come across from the Aus/NZ art quilters' group, new member trying to learn new techniques. Fabulous work Sally. I feel inspired. Your picture reminds me of a scene I saw yesterday. There is a picture of it at http://mydog-parlance.blogspot.com/
Thanks for telling us how you did it.
so many things to try, so little time.
fantastic.
Ah - the journals I'm trying to use as a mind game - I work full time so time with my Bernina is precious. While I'm at work I plan my journal - when I'm ready I start ot sew an I give myself 2 days max! Mind you I have been known to plan and plan and then get to the sewing machine and do something totally diferent and my may journal is an example of that - it was going to be a spider web when I left the kitchen and when I got to the machine this is what I made!!!
