I thought I could make a white quilt with light grey 1" blocks scattered over the top and the attach the red inchies slightly off center over the grey blocks so that they look like shodows.
That's the idea but whether it will work or not is another matter.

those 1" quilts are very cute! Can't wait to see what you are going to do with 100 of them (apart from a 10" square quilt...?).
