When I looked a the photos I discovered I was in a blue mood!
This print is much lighter and bouncier than it looks.
I'm not too sure what I'll do with it but it hums at me.
These two are parent and child - the cicad leaf again! Original and ghost. There was a lot of paint on the plate. I'm slowly learning how to do this, I think.
Cidad again - I really do like that leaf! It is starting to get very sad and tired. It bit me this afternoon!

Love the leaves.
Hi Sally,
I love your leaves.. you have so many wonderful, creative projects.
I also wanted to let you know that I am a golfer too. I don't run into many quilters who also golf!! DH and I take lots of golfing vacations.

Your creativity is really evolving through all your experimental Friday Flaunts, Sally. It's a really good idea for your blog. Congrats, Ann.
How interesting to see the gelatin monotypes! I was just rereading my Quilting Arts magazine (as you do) this morning and there they were! I have done quite a bit of monoprinting lately, but the gelatin base seems awfully fiddly to me, so I haven't tried it. I use a glass cutting board I bought for a few bucks at Woolworths. I wonder how the gelatin base is different?
The leaves look wonderful! I must be a bit mad too....'cause I can see the big fat nose as well!!!LOL
