Lino Print - Koi

I made this print last weekend. I used the same pearl silver and gold paint that I used for the "Five Feathers".

I cut the lino a couple of months ago but I was having trouble getting a good print off it!  I think I might have got it right this time.

I have freemotion out line quilted him and them enhanced some of the gold with 18ct Gold paint!

I think he has come up quite well.

If you look really closely at the detail photo you can see the variagated thread I used to stitch the water.

I used two threads through the needle to help the quilting standout a little more!

I'd love to know what you think.

Oh Sally! I was browsing around your blog today and found this beautiful Koi fish. one word - breath-taking! I've been working on a huge lino project and took a break from it. This little beauty has inspired me to get back to work! Thanks so much!
