A few months ago I took a big leap into the unknown! I saw a call for submissions for a new Lark Book - The Natural World. They wanted quilt artists to submit up to three pieces of work to be considered for publication in an up coming book. Well! I took a deep breath and prepared three pieces for submission! What a bit performance that was - It took hours to upload the images of the quilts. I persisted and they were finally on their way. I joined over 2100 other artists who submitted work!
Then I forgot all about them, until a week or so ago when we were all told how many were submitted and that the shear number of entries would delay the selection process.
This morning, to my amazement, I got an email to say that at least one of my entries has made it through to the second round of the selection process! As I've never done anything t\like this before I'm stunned! And very happy!
