Printing Done and Perfect Weather

I finally printed my 3 large linos!  I'm really happy with the way they turned out!  I now have the fabric sandwiched and ready to stitch.  I'm planning on stitching with rayon thread (two strands through the machine needle).  Then I will add paint or maybe thickened dye!  Not too sure yet.  I'll just wait and see how the quilting goes first!  This feels vaguely back to front!  Quilting first - colouring last.  Ah well.

I was a little late for work this morning!  I just couldn't drive past this view without stopping to take a photo or two.

I live in paradise!

As I was taking the photo of the bay, this little duck swam around the corner of the grasses.

I love the glassy ripples on the surface of the water.  The reflections were magic.

A perfect start to a perfect Autumn day!

WOW..turned out great...can't wait to see what you do with the quilting. Have you tried Madiera Lana thread? 50% wool and 50% acrylic! It's a 12 wt and REALLY nice for either hand or machine stitching. I saw Kemshall's use and I purchased some. I like the Aurifil 28 wt. too.
