That's the name of this little quilt.
I've been home this week with a horrible virus!
I decided to potter in my sewing room. I seem to have the attention span of a flea.
I finally got my head clear enough to make this little quilt. I screen printed the pear, then I painted it and added three little flying pears. Next I freemotion quilted it and finished it with a facing!
It is very small and I thought it needed something to give it a lift.
I mounted it onto a artist canvas! It worked. I painted the canvas black and screen printed two extra flying pears onto the it. I then sewed the quilt to the canvas.
Because it looks like a painting (well I guess it really is a painting), I signed and dated it!
The canvas is 8" x 10" and the little quilt is 5" x 7"

Sorry about your virus, they tend to flatten you for a couple of weeks. I have seen a few little quilts put on canvas and I rather like the way they look. Have to say I think yours looks fabulous!!
The pear looks fantastic, well done. Hope you're feeling better soon..
hugs
Annette
Absolutely stunning, Saddle! Great one, this one! Love it!
Hope you get better over the weekend. There is a blank spot across the hall from me that needs filling; very quiet here, you know!
I wouldn't change anything. I think it is spot on.

Hope you get over the virus quickly, when I had one earlier this winter it kept me down for 6 weeks. Your Pears are lovely wouldn't change a thing.
I love the overall effect. great idea mounting it on the canvas and I agree it does look like a painting.
Hope your virus clears up quickly. A great piece and I love the work that you did with Marie-Therese.

Poor baby being sick, but if this is the result, I would say it is worth it. Lovely
