Beauty found when not looking for it.

It's me again!  At least it hasn't been a month this time between posts!

Last Saturday I went to the museum but I think the most beautiful thing I saw all day was this view across the Derwent River  about 200 meters south of my house.

Righ in the middle of the littel bay were 4 black swans.

They were quietly feeding in the shallow water.

The sun was shining and the air was so still!

Who would live anywhere else.  Tasmania is the most beautiful little island in the world!

Hi Sally I couldn't agree more. Autumn is just gorgeous there in Tassie. I miss that river and the mountain. Love your photos. Chrisb

Totally agree with you about Tassie. That's why I intend to move there one day. :)

Yes it is a beautiful place for sure. Love those photos!!
My sister and her partner moved to Tassie last year, he got a job down there and they have bought a fixer upper on the beach at Penguin. Looks like a very lovely area.
I am kinda partial to my spot up in the mtns here now. :)

Oh yes! No way you could find anything even closely matching that beauty...even in a museum!

And belated congrats on that beautiful new grandson! What a little charmer!

Just started on my first ever altered book. And only having one at the moment...I SOOOO understand the need to do more than one at a time. Drying time is a patience tester for sure!
